Reviewers’ Instruction
Reviewers should be objective and constructive in their evaluation of all manuscripts and send reports within the agreed time. Reviewers should obey confidentiality of peer review. Reviewers shall notify the managing editor immediately of any misconduct on the part of any author(s) (e.g. plagiarism and other unethical practices. Once a reviewer declares any potentially conflicting or competing interests, the reviewer would be excused from reviewing any manuscripts(s) of relevant interest.
Peer Review Process
The essence of peer review is to prevent the publication of bad work and to check that the research report has been carried out well and there are no flaws in the design or methodology. IJEP uses double blind peer review process. This means that two external reviewers are invited to review a manuscript after initial check by one of editors who specializes in the relevant field of the paper. The review process can take up 3 or 4 months before we take our first decision.
